A Balancing Act

I chuckle at these words because I am so unsteady on my feet.  It is my own physical reminder that life is a balancing act for all of us.

As a result of reading about Chinese medicine, Hindu Chakras, as well as Taoist based books like Wayne Dyer’s Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life, I began to shift from seeing behavior as good or bad.  We are all learning through our experiences and we are each on our own path, going at our own pace.  Of course, to live in a society you need rules which follow a moral code and standards of behavior must be set.  On an individual level, in your personal relationships, judging your behavior and what of everyone around you does simply causes friction and focuses on separation and differences instead of fostering love, compassion, and cooperation.

Masaru Emoto has shown that words have an effect which we cannot see.  See my post from August 16:  https://contentedcat.org/2013/08/16/a-word-is-dead-when-it-is-said-some-say/

Try replacing the words good and bad with the words balanced and unbalanced, or healthy and unhealthy, with an attitude of understanding instead of judgment.  Here is a great quote from Ian Maclaren to help you on your way:

“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle”.
